Treatment methods
What works for you may not work at all for someone else. Depending on the type of complaints and the way to your goal, the following techniques are used.
EMDR
EMDR is for people who continue to deal with the consequences of a traumatic event such as a traffic accident, sexual abuse, or a raid. The event is stored in the body and keeps coming back as a vivid memory.
Cognitive behavioral therapy
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a form of psychotherapy that teaches you to look at and deal with problematic situations differently. We detect irrational, negative thoughts. Your own thoughts can make you feel worse than you want. The trick is to replace limiting thoughts with more rational and helpful thoughts.
Communication
Knowing that you are not the same as someone else can cause communication problems. Most relationship problems arise from the lack of communication. This can be a love relationship but also with friends or colleagues. Together we look at your way of communicating and find a working way for you.
Parts work
Do you ever experience that one time you think one thing, the other time the opposite and do you want to find a balance? Sharing work looks at the conflict between conflicting thoughts and/or feelings so that you can achieve your goal.
Hypnotherapy
By making contact with your subconscious you learn to listen to your subconscious feelings and beliefs. This gives you insights into your own possibilities.
Inner child work
As a child you go through a lot and that creates your own survival parts. Inner child work is a method that is used to put unpleasant, painful and sad experiences from the past in the right context in the present.
Mindfulness
You observe, as it were, your own thought processes and feelings. This gives you more distance from your thoughts and you are less carried away by all the thoughts that come by one day. You get more inner peace and get less into the drama of your thoughts and feelings.
Regression
With the help of regression therapy, the traumatic and unpleasant experiences (possibly in the subconscious) can be processed, which leads to the removal or reduction of the problem or complaint. This may concern psychological or physical problems/complaints.
Systemic
Working systemically is a way of gaining insight into your own place in a system (for example in the family or at work) and your relationship with the others in that system. You can experience where there are obstacles and why you keep falling into certain behavior that hinders your development and growth.
NLP
NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) is an efficient communication model that addresses the question 'how do we do what we do'. You develop more personal leadership and you know how to present yourself with a healthy dose of self-confidence. In short, you learn to communicate concretely and effectively with yourself and others.
Provacative coaching
Do you think you really want to get rid of your problem? Let me dissuade you: Many people are more attached to their problems than they admit. It always gets them something. With provocative coaching, coaching is done in a playful way and your pain points become very clear.
Bereavement processing
Dealing with the loss; it may seem like an impossible task at first. It's like being in a deep pit that you can't climb out of. It can be about the loss of a loved one, loss of your job, relationship, pet or the loss of the life you would like to have but which never happened.
